We're currently recruiting for Teaching Assistants to work in our partner primary schools across Manchester on a day-to-day, short-term, long-term or temp-to-perm basis, starting September 2026.
You'll be joining supportive and inclusive schools committed to creating a positive learning environment where every child is encouraged to achieve their full potential.

Your main responsibilities will include:
- Supporting teachers with the delivery of engaging and inclusive lessons across the primary curriculum.
- Providing one-to-one and small-group support to pupils to develop their confidence, understanding and independence.
- Supporting pupils with additional learning needs, including SEND, where appropriate.
- Helping to create a positive, safe and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued.
- Encouraging positive behaviour and supporting pupils with their social, emotional and communication development.
- Assisting with classroom preparation, learning resources and general classroom organisation.
- Working closely with teachers and wider school staff to support pupils' learning and development.
- Building positive and professional relationships with pupils, helping them to engage positively with their learning.
- Supporting pupils during lessons, break times, lunchtimes and other activities where required.
- Following school safeguarding policies and promoting the welfare of all children and young people.
Requirements or Skills:
- A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification such as a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning is desirable.
- Previous experience working with children in a school, nursery, childcare or similar setting is desirable.
- Experience supporting pupils with SEND is advantageous.
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their education and development.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
- A patient, enthusiastic and adaptable approach to supporting pupils.
- The ability to build positive relationships with children and work effectively as part of a wider school team.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
