SEND Teaching Assistant
Location: Didsbury, Manchester
Working Hours: 8.30am-3.30pm Monday to Friday
Start Date: Immediate or ASAP
Milk Education are working with an exceptional Primary school in Didsbury who are seeking full-time SEND Teaching Assistants to work with children that have Autism and other additional needs.
This is a great opportunity for a new or experienced educator to become a familiar face in a school where staffing, culture and community go hand in hand.

SEND Teaching Assistant Responsibilities
- Promote inclusion and acceptance of all children
- Support children consistently whilst responding to their individual needs
- Work with the teacher in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/plans as appropriate
- Deliver catch-up sessions
SEND Teaching Assistant Person Specification
- Must have recent/relevant experience working with children and young people, within the past five years
- Must have a passion for education
- Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills
- Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the teacher
- Must be reliable and punctual
