We're currently recruiting for experienced School Administrators to work across various schools throughout Manchester on a day-to-day, short-term or long-term basis, starting September 2026 .

Your main responsibilities will include
- Managing day-to-day administrative tasks within the school office.
- Using
Arbor confidently to maintain accurate pupil and school records.
- Updating attendance, pupil information and other records on the school's management system.
- Supporting with admissions, pupil registrations and general school administration.
- Answering telephone calls and responding to emails and enquiries professionally.
- Acting as a welcoming and professional first point of contact for pupils, parents, staff and visitors.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and ensuring information is handled confidentially.
- Supporting the wider school team with correspondence, letters, reports and general administration.
- Assisting with attendance monitoring and following up on unexplained absences where required.
- Supporting safeguarding procedures and ensuring relevant information is recorded appropriately.
- Working collaboratively with teachers, senior leaders and wider school staff.
Requirements or Skills
- Previous experience working in a school administration or school office role .
Confident and recent experience using Arbor is essential.
- Strong understanding of school office procedures and administration.
- Experience managing pupil records, attendance and school information systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a busy school environment.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and other administrative systems.
- A professional, approachable and reliable manner.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
