Your Responsibilities
- Support the teacher in delivering engaging classroom activities
- Provide one-to-one and small-group learning support
- Assist pupils with their classwork and understanding
- Support children with SEND and individual learning needs
- Encourage positive behaviour and engagement
- Help maintain a welcoming and organised classroom
- Prepare and organise learning resources
- Promote pupils' independence and confidence
- Support pupil wellbeing and pastoral needs
- Work collaboratively with teachers and the wider school team
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience working with children is desirable
- School or classroom experience is advantageous but not essential
- A genuine passion for working with children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient, enthusiastic and adaptable approach
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils
- Confidence supporting pupils individually and in groups
- Understanding of safeguarding and pupil welfare
- Reliable and professional approach
