Milk Education is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Maths Intervention Teachers to work across a range of primary schools in South Manchester from September. We're looking to connect with qualified teachers, ECTs and experienced education professionals who are passionate about helping pupils build confidence and make progress in mathematics. Our schools may be looking for teachers to deliver targeted one-to-one, small-group or whole-class maths support, depending on the setting and individual pupil needs. With a wide range of opportunities available, we're open to speaking with teachers looking for long-term, short-term, part-time, full-time, temporary or permanent positions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Maths interventions for individuals and small groups
  • Support pupils to develop their mathematical understanding, confidence and problem-solving skills
  • Identify gaps in learning and adapt teaching to address individual needs
  • Monitor pupil progress and provide appropriate feedback
  • Use engaging and practical approaches to make Maths accessible to all learners
  • Work closely with class teachers and wider school staff
  • Create a positive and encouraging learning environment

What We're Looking For:

  • Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Maths within a primary school setting
  • Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
  • Experience delivering interventions is desirable
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • A positive, adaptable and reflective approach to teaching
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • ECTs are encouraged to apply
