Milk Education is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to work across a range of primary schools in South Manchester from September. We're looking to connect with experienced LSAs, Teaching Assistants, Classroom Assistants and education professionals who are passionate about supporting children to succeed in the classroom.
Opportunities may be available across mainstream primary schools and SEND settings, supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis, in small groups or as part of the wider classroom team. With a wide range of opportunities available, we're open to speaking with candidates looking for long-term, short-term, part-time, full-time, temporary or permanent positions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support pupils with their learning and development
- Provide one-to-one and small-group classroom support
- Assist teachers with the delivery of engaging learning activities
- Support pupils with additional learning needs where required
- Promote positive behaviour and classroom engagement
- Help create a safe, inclusive and encouraging learning environment
- Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Support pupils to develop confidence and independence
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable
- Experience within a primary school or education setting is welcomed
- Experience supporting SEND or additional needs is desirable
- A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt to different classroom environments
- Relevant education, childcare or support qualifications are desirable
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualifications are welcomed
