Milk Education are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable RE Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Abbey Wood on a full-time, temporary to permanent basis. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator who is committed to inspiring young people through the study of religion, ethics, and philosophy. The successful candidate will join a supportive Humanities department and play a key role in developing students' critical thinking, cultural awareness, and understanding of different beliefs and values.

Key Responsibilities- Planning and delivering engaging RE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Creating an inclusive and thought‑provoking learning environment
- Encouraging students to explore a range of religious, ethical, and philosophical perspectives
- Assessing, monitoring, and recording student progress effectively
- Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all students
- Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Contributing to the wider Humanities department and school community
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Have experience teaching Religious Education at secondary level
- Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for Humanities education
- Have excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Be committed to achieving positive outcomes for all students
