We are recruiting Learning Support Assistants for a specialist school in West Drayton, supporting pupils aged 5-16 with autism, physical disabilities, sensory differences, and complex communication needs. This is a long-term, temporary role offering a unique opportunity to use drama-based approaches to build trust, encourage self-expression, and support emotional regulation in a safe, creative space.

Your Drama background will enable you to:

  • Support emotional understanding in an imaginative, non-judgemental space
  • Interpret communication through body language and sensory cues

Your Responsibilities

  • Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups using drama-based activities
  • Use creative approaches to promote communication and social interaction
  • Support emotional regulation and independence through expressive arts
  • Work alongside teachers, therapists, and SENCOs to deliver individual plans
  • Contribute to a calm, safe, and engaging learning environment
  • Assist with personal care where required (full training provided)

Who We're Looking For

No school experience required—your creativity, compassion, and willingness to learn matter most.
