Milk Education are working in partnership with a welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Haringey to appoint a talented History Teacher for a September start. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate History Teacher to join a thriving Humanities department and inspire students to develop a curiosity and appreciation for the past. The successful History Teacher will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, encouraging students to think critically, analyse evidence and develop strong written communication skills. The school is committed to academic excellence and provides a structured curriculum designed to foster historical enquiry, debate and independent thinking.
The Role
- Planning and delivering engaging History lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Working as a History Teacher to inspire a love of learning and historical understanding
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive
- Assessing, monitoring and tracking pupil progress effectively
- Preparing students for GCSE examinations and supporting strong outcomes
- Contributing to the wider Humanities department and curriculum development
- Encouraging critical thinking, source analysis and historical interpretation
The Ideal Candidate
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
