Role Overview
Milk Education is seeking a Year 3 Teacher to join a supportive, two-form entry primary school in the L12 area of Liverpool. This role is suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) as well as experienced practitioners and is available to start immediately. You will take full responsibility for a Year 3 class, delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that support pupils' academic progress, confidence, and transition into Key Stage 2.
Classroom & School Support
- Two-form entry primary school within the local community
- Experienced Classroom Teaching Assistant working alongside you
- Additional SEN Teaching Assistant support where required
- Supportive KS2 phase leader and senior leadership team
- ECTs will receive guidance, mentoring, and ongoing support
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum
- Maintain high expectations for learning, behaviour, and achievement
- Create a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment
- Differentiate learning to support pupils with SEN and additional needs
- Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress using school systems
- Support pupils as they settle into Key Stage 2 expectations
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to reporting
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, the SENCO, and senior leadership
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards QTS (ECTs welcome)
- Experience or strong interest in teaching Year 3 / Lower KS2
- Secure subject knowledge across the KS2 curriculum
- Positive and confident classroom management skills
- A proactive, reflective, and approachable teaching style
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
