The Opportunity
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a reliable and hardworking
Warehouse Operator to join their team in Liverpool.
This is a varied, hands-on role working within a busy warehouse and production environment, supporting the movement of goods, stock control and light assembly of products.
The successful candidate must hold a valid
Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence and be comfortable working as part of a team while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck to load, unload and transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Pick, pack and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
- Receive deliveries and accurately book stock into the warehouse.
- Assemble products and components in line with work instructions and quality standards.
- Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet specification.
- Maintain accurate stock levels and assist with regular stock counts.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organised and compliant with Health & Safety procedures.
- Assist with goods-in and goods-out operations.
- Work closely with colleagues across the warehouse and production teams to achieve daily targets.
- Complete all relevant paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
- Report any equipment faults, stock discrepancies or safety concerns.
Essential Requirements
- Valid, in-date
- Counterbalance FLT Licence
(essential).
- Previous experience within a warehouse, manufacturing or production environment.
- Confident operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck.
- Experience assembling products or components using hand tools.
- Good attention to detail
