We're looking for a patient, proactive SEN Support Assistant to join a specialist team supporting secondary-aged pupils with primary-level learning needs. This is a great opportunity for a new or experienced educator to become a familiar face in a school where staffing, culture and community go hand in hand. You'll be joining a supportive, inclusive school that puts wellbeing and community at the centre of everything they do. It's a good fit for someone who wants to become a familiar face in a school that values consistency.

What you'll be doing:

  • Providing 1:1 and small group support across core subjects
  • Supporting pupils with autism, ADHD, SEMH, and developmental delay
  • Using tailored strategies to build confidence, independence, and engagement
  • Working closely with teachers and therapists to deliver EHCP outcomes
  • Promoting emotional regulation and positive behaviour through consistency and care

What we're looking for:

  • Experience in SEND settings or with neurodiverse learners
  • Confidence supporting literacy, numeracy, and life skills at a primary level
  • Calm, empathetic approach with strong communication skills
  • A genuine passion for helping pupils thrive at their own pace

Benefits:

  • Competitive rates of pay with temp-to-perm routes available.
  • Speedy registration process & fast-track compliance - APSCo Compliance+ accredited for the highest safer recruitment standards.
  • Flexible days and working hours to suit your schedule.
  • Culture-matched placements - we take the time to understand you and find schools that fit your values and strengths.
  • Priority Partnership school network - access to trusted schools who work with us long-term on staffing, enrichment and community initiatives.
  • 5+ CPD courses completed before placement (including Safeguarding, SEND & Behaviour) with access to further accredited training through Milk Academy.
  • FREE PSHE lesson plans and resources, designed by real teachers.
  • FREE Educator Wellbeing resources and access to our community hub - because we believe supported staff stay longer and make a bigger impact.
  • School Preparation Pack with handover notes and insightful school guides - so you walk in ready on day one.
  • 24/7 support from your personal consultant, directly through their work mobile phone to ensure your journey is personal.
