Part time Teaching Assistant
Milk Education is partnered with well-regarded primary schools in Aigburth (South Liverpool) who are looking for dedicated and compassionate part-time Teaching Assistants who are available for flexible work this academic year!
This part time role will include providing one-to-one support for children with Autism, ADHD and other complex needs. We are looking for someone patient, caring, and highly adaptable to meet the pupil's individual learning requirements.
You will play an important part in nurturing the child's academic progress and emotional well-being within a supportive and structured school environment.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Provide one-to-one support on a adhoc basis.
- Keep the child engaged and on task throughout the school day
- Prepare daily resources and support learning activities
- Foster a positive, nurturing learning environment
- Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff
Requirements or Skills:
- Experience supporting children with SEND, particularly Autism
- Patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to supporting the child's academic and emotional development
