KS2 Learning Support Assistant
MILK Education is working with a local Primary school in the L8 area of Liverpool.
The school is looking for a KS2 Learning Support Assistant to support in a Year 5 class in a long-term temporary role, starting September 2026- Dec 2026
You will be a great role model and support the Teacher to provide an engaging learning environment.
You will provide support to children in small groups and on a one-to-one basis with their learning and help build their confidence.
We're looking for a KS2 Learning Support Assistant (LSA) who is
- Strong and adaptable, with a calm, confident presence
- An excellent communicator, able to build trust with pupils and staff
- Proactive and positive, with a genuine passion for helping young people thrive
- Empathetic and patient, with a good sense of humour and a team spirit
Your role will include
- Supporting pupils with additional needs in small groups and 1:1
- Helping to deliver engaging, accessible learning across the curriculum
- Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
- Working closely with teachers, therapists, and families to support progress
