Are you a graduate looking to gain valuable classroom experience before starting a career in teaching?
Milk Education is working in partnership with a range of welcoming secondary schools across Liverpool, Sefton, Knowsley and the Wirral who are looking for confident and enthusiastic Graduate Cover Supervisors to support students across KS3 and KS4.
Whether you're considering teacher training, building experience for a PGCE, or simply looking for a rewarding role where every day is different, this is the perfect opportunity to develop your skills in education.
What you'll be doing:
- Delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
- Take Part in Cover Supervisor Training
- Manage classroom behaviour and creating a positive learning environment.
- Support students to stay engaged and complete their work.
- Build positive relationships with pupils and school staff.
- Gain experience across a variety of subjects and year groups.
We would love to hear from graduates with:
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Confidence working with young people.
- Previous experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential), including tutoring, coaching, mentoring or volunteering.
- An interest in pursuing a career in education.
