Role Overview
Milk Education is seeking an experienced EYFS Teacher to join a supportive, two-form entry primary school in the L10 area of Liverpool. This role is ideal for confident practitioners with strong EYFS knowledge who can lead a class independently and deliver high-quality early years provision. You will take full responsibility for an EYFS class, creating a nurturing, engaging, and well-structured learning environment that supports children's academic, social, and emotional development.
Classroom & School Support
- Two-form entry primary school within the local community
- Experienced Classroom Teaching Assistant working alongside you
- Additional SEN Teaching Assistant support
- Established and supportive EYFS and senior leadership team
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the EYFS Framework
- Lead the classroom confidently, ensuring strong routines and expectations
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
- Support and differentiate learning for pupils with SEN and additional needs
- Observe, assess, and track pupil progress using EYFS assessment methods
- Maintain learning journals and contribute to reporting
- Promote positive behaviour, independence, and emotional development
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, the SENCO, and senior leadership
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience teaching within EYFS
- Strong understanding of the EYFS Framework and child development
- Experience supporting pupils with SEN (desirable)
- Confident classroom management and organisation skills
- A caring, proactive, and reflective approach to teaching
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
