A forward-thinking secondary school is looking to appoint a creative and skilled Design Technology Teacher to join a growing department.
The school has recently invested in its DT facilities and is keen to expand opportunities for students interested in engineering, product design and practical problem-solving. This is an excellent opportunity to join a department with exciting plans for future development.
What you'll be doing:
- Teaching Design Technology across KS3 and KS4.
- Delivering lessons in areas such as Product Design and Resistant Materials.
- Supporting practical workshop activities.
- Promoting safe working practices.
- Assessing coursework and practical projects.
- Encouraging creativity, innovation and technical skill development.
We would love to hear from candidates who have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching Design Technology.
- Strong practical and technical knowledge.
- Effective classroom and workshop management skills.
- Enthusiasm for creative and vocational learning.
