Business Studies / Health & Social Care Teacher - L17
Milk Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in L17, Liverpool, to recruit a Business Studies / Health & Social Care Teacher to start as soon as possible.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate graduate, aspiring teacher, or experienced educator with strong knowledge of Business Studies and/or Health & Social Care who is keen to inspire students, build confidence, and support academic achievement across KS3 and KS4.
This role is split across both Business Studies and Health & Social Care, making it ideal for candidates with experience in either or both subject areas but we open to teachers who specialise in one of the two. Whether you are beginning your teaching journey or bringing established classroom experience, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact within a supportive school environment.
The Role
As a Business Studies / Health & Social Care Teacher, you will work with students across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging and informative lessons that develop subject knowledge, critical thinking, and real-world understanding. You will support students in achieving their full potential and preparing for assessments and qualifications within both subject areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging Business Studies and Health & Social Care lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Support students in developing confidence, analytical thinking, and subject-specific knowledge
- Prepare pupils for assessments, examinations, and coursework requirements
- Adapt lessons and activities to meet individual learning needs
- Encourage participation and positive behaviour through engaging teaching strategies
- Track student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
- Build positive relationships to motivate and inspire learners
- Create an inclusive learning environment where all students can succeed
The Ideal Candidate
- A degree in Business, Health & Social Care, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Social Sciences, or a related subject, or previous teaching experience within either subject area
- Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Business Studies and/or Health & Social Care
- Experience teaching or working with secondary-aged students is desirable
- Open to both recent graduates and experienced teachers
- Confident, adaptable, and engaging communication style
- Passion for education and supporting young people
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
