Milk Education is seeking passionate and experienced Behaviour Support Assistants to support a number of secondary schools across Liverpool and the surrounding areas. About the Behaviour Support Assistant Role

  • Providing 1:1 and small group support to students with behavioural needs
  • Implementing behaviour intervention strategies and support plans
  • Supporting teachers and pastoral teams in maintaining a positive, calm learning environment
  • Using effective de-escalation techniques when needed
  • Building trust and rapport with students to encourage positive behaviour and engagement

Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience working in a UK secondary school (this is essential)
  • Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
  • A resilient, supportive, and professional approach
  • A genuine passion for helping young people overcome barriers to learning
