  • Prepare learning materials and help maintain a well-organised classroom environment.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and promote independence throughout the school day.
  • Observe pupil progress and share feedback with teaching staff.
  • Support children during classroom activities, breaktimes, educational visits and other school activities when required.
  • Develop positive working relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents/carers.
  • Promote safeguarding, wellbeing and high expectations at all times.

  • Has previous experience working within a primary school.
  • Is confident supporting children across the primary curriculum.
  • Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Is caring, patient and committed to helping every child reach their potential.
  • Can work independently when needed while contributing positively as part of a team.
  • Has an understanding of safeguarding procedures or is willing to complete relevant training.
  • Is dedicated to supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development.

In return, you'll benefit from

  • Competitive daily rates of pay.
  • A rewarding full-time role in a welcoming and supportive primary school.
  • A September start with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact from day one.
  • Access to ongoing CPD and professional development through Milk Academy.
