- Teaching Assistant to work in Year 2 at a Primary School in
Leigh (WN7) on a long-term basis, starting in September.
This role is part-time and requires 15 hours.
The working hours are 12:30- 15:30; the school is looking for someone who wants to be taken on a direct permanent contract after working on temporary supply.
You'll be joining a Primary school that has high expectations and encourages the love of learning and the love of life.

Your main responsibilities will include
- Providing one-to-one support and group support for children in Year 2
- Keeping the children engaged and on task throughout the school day
- Prepare daily resources and support learning activities
- Foster a positive, nurturing learning environment
- Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff
Requirements or Skills
- Experience supporting children with SEND, particularly SEMH and ASD
- Patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to supporting the child's academic and emotional development
