Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons that inspire learning
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that supports both academic and emotional development
  • Design a well-rounded curriculum that encourages pupils' social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth
  • Track and assess pupil progress, offering constructive feedback and targeted support where needed
  • Build strong relationships with parents and carers to support pupils' learning at home
  • Keep accurate records of attendance, progress, and behaviour
  • Stay informed about current teaching practices and integrate new ideas into your lessons
  • Work closely with colleagues to provide a consistent and enriching learning experience

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally in Year 6
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A genuine passion for teaching and learning
  • A caring, patient, and supportive approach
  • Good organisational skills and effective time management
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum and a willingness to continue developing professionally
