Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons that inspire learning
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that supports both academic and emotional development
- Design a well-rounded curriculum that encourages pupils' social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth
- Track and assess pupil progress, offering constructive feedback and targeted support where needed
- Build strong relationships with parents and carers to support pupils' learning at home
- Keep accurate records of attendance, progress, and behaviour
- Stay informed about current teaching practices and integrate new ideas into your lessons
- Work closely with colleagues to provide a consistent and enriching learning experience
- Contribute to school events and the wider school community
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally in Year 4
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine passion for teaching and learning
- A caring, patient, and supportive approach
- Good organisational skills and effective time management
- Up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum and a willingness to continue developing professionally
