We're currently recruiting for Primary Teachers to work in our partner primary schools across Leeds on a day-to-day, short-term, long-term or temp-to-perm basis, starting September 2026.

As a Primary Teacher, you'll be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive lessons, supporting pupils' academic and personal development, and creating a positive classroom environment where every child can thrive.
Your main responsibilities will include
- Planning and delivering engaging, creative and inclusive lessons across the primary curriculum.
- Differentiating learning to meet the individual needs, abilities and learning styles of all pupils.
- Creating a positive, safe and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and supported.
- Monitoring, assessing and recording pupil progress and using this information to inform future teaching.
- Supporting pupils with additional learning needs, including SEND, where appropriate.
- Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting pupils' social, emotional and personal development.
- Building strong and positive relationships with pupils, parents, carers and wider school staff.
- Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, support staff and school leaders to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
- Contributing to the wider life of the school and supporting extracurricular activities where appropriate.
- Maintaining high standards of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Requirements or Skills
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching within a primary school setting.
- Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
- A genuine passion for education and supporting children to achieve their full potential.
- Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
- A patient, enthusiastic and adaptable approach to teaching.
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and work effectively as part of a wider school team.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
