What does a PE Teacher do?
- Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Teach a range of sports and physical activities based on your specialist knowledge
- Create an inclusive learning environment where all students feel encouraged to participate
- Develop students' physical skills, fitness, confidence, teamwork, and resilience
- Manage classroom and sporting behaviour effectively, promoting positive attitudes
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to support development
- Encourage students to take part in extracurricular activities and school sports
- Build positive relationships with students and inspire a genuine interest in physical activity
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the wider PE department and school community

What we're looking for
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience
- A degree in PE, Sports Science, or a related subject
- Strong knowledge across a range of sports and physical activities
- Experience teaching PE at secondary level
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- A passion for inspiring and motivating young people
- The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
