September 2026 on a full-time, long-term maternity cover contract . This is initially a one-year contract , with the exciting possibility of a permanent position from September 2027 .

Responsibilities

  • Full-time Year 6 class teacher.
  • September 2026 start.
  • One-year maternity cover contract.
  • Full teaching responsibilities, including planning, preparation, assessment and marking.
  • Deliver engaging lessons that prepare pupils for SATs while maintaining a broad and inspiring curriculum.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching Upper Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6.
  • Confident with planning, assessment and preparing pupils for end-of-Key Stage assessments.
  • Passionate about raising attainment while creating an engaging and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Committed to becoming an active member of the school community throughout the duration of the contract.
