We're currently recruiting for a KS2 Primary Teacher to work within welcoming and supportive Primary Schools, starting in September. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and dedicated teacher to inspire and support pupils during a crucial stage of their educational journey. As a KS2 Primary Teacher, you'll be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, preparing pupils for their next stage of education and creating a positive classroom environment where every child can succeed.
Your Main Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum.
- Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
- Assess, monitor and track pupil progress to ensure every child reaches their potential.
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND.
- Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
- Prepare pupils for statutory assessments where required.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies.
- Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, support staff and senior leaders.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school community.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
- Strong knowledge of the KS2 National Curriculum.
- Experience delivering high-quality lessons in English, Maths and the wider curriculum.
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
