We're currently recruiting for a KS1 Primary Teacher to work within welcoming and supportive Primary Schools, starting in September. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and dedicated teacher to make a positive impact during a crucial stage of children's educational development. Whether you're an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), we would love to hear from you.
As a KS1 Primary Teacher, you'll be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, supporting pupil progress and creating a nurturing classroom environment where children can develop confidence and a love of learning.
Your Main Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 National Curriculum.
- Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
- Assess, monitor and track pupil progress.
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND.
- Support the development of children's literacy, numeracy and communication skills.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies.
- Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, support staff and senior leaders.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school community.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 1.
- Strong knowledge of the KS1 National Curriculum.
- Experience supporting phonics and early reading development.
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
