Milk Education are working with a supportive primary school in Merton who are looking to appoint a dedicated KS1 Intervention Teacher from September.

This role will involve delivering targeted English and Maths interventions, helping pupils close learning gaps and build confidence in preparation for the next stage of their education.

The Role

  • Deliver small-group and targeted intervention sessions.
  • Assess pupil progress and adapt learning accordingly.
  • Work closely with class teachers to identify learning priorities.
  • Create engaging and differentiated learning activities.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils and families.

About You

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 1.
  • Strong knowledge of phonics and early mathematics.
  • Passionate about raising attainment.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
