About the Role
Milk Education is working in partnership with a welcoming primary school located in Huyton (L36), which is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic temporary Year 6 Teaching Assistant to join their team. This Year 6 Teaching Assistant is a full-time, long-term temporary role supporting children in the Year 6 class, with a particular focus on pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The role is Monday to Friday, and the working hours are 08:00am-15:00pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the class teacher and work collaboratively with support staff
- Provide one-to-one and small group support for SEND pupils
- Promote a nurturing and inclusive learning environment
- Help pupils stay on task and achieve their learning goals
Requirements
- KS2 and SEND experience (desirable)
- Patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach
