SEN Learning Support Assistant - Specialist School - Kingston
Location: Kingston upon Thames, South West London
Pay: £105-£125 per day
Start Date: October 2026
Contract: Full-time, long-term
Milk Education are recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist SEN school in Kingston. The school is looking for a supportive and dependable individual who can help pupils engage with learning, develop independence and feel confident in their school environment.
The Role
- Support pupils with a range of additional needs.
- Assist with classroom learning, practical activities and routines.
- Provide individual support where required.
- Encourage communication, independence and social interaction.
- Help pupils manage transitions and changes throughout the day.
- Work alongside teachers and other support professionals.
About You
- Previous experience supporting children or young people is desirable.
- An interest in special educational needs and inclusive education.
- Patient, observant and adaptable.
- Able to follow guidance and individual support plans.
- A team player with a positive, nurturing approach.
Experience in a specialist school, care setting, youth work or support work would be an advantage.
