Location: Kingston upon Thames, South West London
Pay: Β£100-Β£115 per day

KS2 Teaching Assistant

Milk Education are working with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Kingston upon Thames who are looking for a dedicated KS2 Teaching Assistant to join their team from September.

The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to support pupils across the KS2 curriculum and help create a positive environment where children can thrive.

The Role

  • Support pupils across Key Stage 2.
  • Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning.
  • Support English, Maths and wider curriculum lessons.
  • Assist pupils with independent tasks.
  • Provide additional support to pupils who require extra guidance.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and independence.
  • Help prepare classroom resources.
  • Work closely with the class teacher to support pupil progress.

About You

  • Previous primary school experience is desirable.
  • KS2 experience would be advantageous.
  • Confident supporting children with their learning.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Patient, proactive and enthusiastic.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a classroom team.
