History Teacher - Greenwich
Full-Time | 5 Days per Week | Paid to Scale | ASAP Start - February 2027
Milk Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated History Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Greenwich. This History Teacher opportunity is available immediately and will run through until February 2027, offering a fantastic chance to make a lasting impact within a supportive Humanities department.
The successful History Teacher will deliver engaging and inspiring lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love of history and helping students achieve their full potential. This History Teacher role would suit an experienced practitioner or a confident ECT looking to gain valuable long-term experience within a well-established school environment.
The Role:
- Deliver high-quality History lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Plan, prepare and assess engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Monitor and track student progress, providing targeted support where required
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and wider school staff
- Contribute to the wider life of the school as a committed History Teacher
The Ideal History Teacher Will Have:
- QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching History within a secondary school setting
- Strong classroom management skills
- A passion for raising attainment and student engagement
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- The Right to Work in the UK
