We are recruiting a temporary Year 5 Teacher for a primary school in Hindley Green (WN2) on a long-term supply basis, starting in September 2026 and running until December 2026. This role involves working five full days per week, Monday to Friday, 08:30 am – 16:00 pm. The class contains 28 children, with one full-time TA supporting a SEND child.

Your role & responsibilities:

  • Teaching the children in class, ensuring they complete their work
  • Guiding students through the curriculum, marking work, and setting homework tasks
  • Managing behaviour
  • Upholding the school's behaviour and safeguarding policies
  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons

Non-negotiables:

  • Relevant teaching experience

  • Knowledge of the national curriculum
  • Passion and understanding
  • Confidence in managing classes of pupils
