Milk Education is partnering with a well-regarded primary school in Hindley Green (WN2) to recruit a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant for a full‑time, temporary, long‑term role starting in September 2026. This position involves working one‑to‑one with a Year 1 child with Autism and Complex Needs. The ideal candidate will be patient, nurturing, and highly adaptable to the individual learning needs of the child. You will play a key role in supporting the pupil’s educational and emotional development within a structured and caring environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one support for a Year 1 pupil with Autism and Complex Needs
- Keep the child engaged and on task throughout the school day
- Prepare daily resources and support learning activities
- Foster a positive, nurturing learning environment
- Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff
