Part‑time Year 3 Teaching Assistant
Joining a caring and creative primary school in Hindley Green (WN2) on a long‑term basis, this part‑time role offers 15 hours and 30 minutes per week of teaching assistance with a direct permanent contract offer after temporary supply.
The working hours are 12:30‑15:30, with two evenings a week in the after‑school club until 16:00.
Your main responsibilities will include
- Providing one‑to‑one support and group support for children in Year 3
- Keeping the children engaged and on task throughout the school day
- Preparing daily resources and supporting learning activities
- Fostering a positive, nurturing learning environment
- Working collaboratively with teaching and support staff
Requirements or skills
- Experience supporting children with SEND, particularly SEMH and ASD
- Patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to supporting the child's academic and emotional development
