Higher Level Teaching Assistant
Milk Education is looking for an experienced HLTA to work full‑time at a primary school in Aspull (WN2) starting in September 2026.
The HLTA role will consist of covering lessons across EYFS and KS1 when the teachers are out doing PPA or need management release time.
In this HLTA role, you will be required to cover a range of subjects within EYFS and KS1, so knowledge and experience covering the EYFS and KS1 curriculum within a UK mainstream primary school setting is essential.
This is a long‑term role that will start in September 2026 and could go from a temporary role to a permanent role for the ideal applicant.
The HLTA role will be full‑time, 08:30 am until 15:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
Applicants will need to possess
- Previous EYFS & KS1 teaching or HLTA experience
- HLTA status, QTS status or Level 6 degree
- The ability to develop positive relationships with staff and students alike
- Strong behaviour management skills
