Milk Education is recruiting caring and enthusiastic EYFS Learning Support Assistants to work across a range of welcoming Primary schools in Halifax from September.
Our partner schools are looking for individuals who are passionate about supporting children during the early stages of their education, helping them develop confidence, independence and a love of learning.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Teaching Assistants, Early Years practitioners, graduates or individuals with childcare experience looking to progress their career within education.
Key Responsibilities
- Support children within Nursery and Reception classrooms.
- Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions to support early learning.
- Encourage children's communication, language and social development.
- Assist with phonics, early literacy and numeracy activities.
- Support learning through play and creative classroom activities.
- Help create a safe, stimulating and nurturing learning environment.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
- Support children's personal, social and emotional development.
About You
- Caring, patient and enthusiastic.
- Passionate about Early Years education.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexible and proactive approach.
- Experience working with young children is desirable.
- Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification is advantageous but not essential.
- Graduates in Education, Psychology or Childhood Studies are encouraged to apply.
