Salary: Day rate - £107.00-£115.00 (dependent on experience)

We are currently recruiting SEND Support Workers to work in welcoming and inclusive schools, supporting young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The Role

As a SEND Support Worker, you'll work closely with teachers and school staff to provide tailored support for students with a range of additional needs. Your role will be vital in creating a positive, inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
  • Assisting pupils with autism (ASC), ADHD, learning difficulties, SEMH, speech and language needs, and other additional needs.
  • Encouraging independence, confidence, and positive behaviour.
  • Supporting students both in the classroom and during wider school activities.
  • Working alongside teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to deliver personalised support.
  • Building positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
  • Promoting safeguarding and the wellbeing of every young person.
