Cover Supervisor - SEN Schools

This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates, experienced educators, or individuals with experience working with young people who are passionate about making a difference in a specialist SEN setting.
The Role
As a Cover Supervisor in an SEN school, you will:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
- Support pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties
- Create a safe, positive, and engaging classroom environment
- Support pupils with their learning, confidence, and emotional development
- Manage behaviour using positive and consistent strategies
- Work closely with teachers and support staff to meet individual pupil needs
We Are Looking For
- Experience working with children or young people (school, tutoring, coaching, youth work, mentoring, etc.)
- Previous SEND experience is desirable but not essential
- Confident communication and classroom management skills
- A patient, resilient, and supportive approach
- A genuine passion for helping young people achieve their potential
