SEND Primary Support Worker
Location: Gateshead
Working Hours: 8.30am-3.30pm, Monday to Friday
Start Date: November 2026
Contract: Full-time
Pay: £107.71 to £120 per day
Milk Education are currently working in partnership with a welcoming SEND primary school in Gateshead, who are looking for a caring and experienced SEND Support Worker to join their team from November 2026 until July 2027.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, SEND Support Worker, Care Worker or education professional who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
You will work as part of a supportive and experienced team, providing 1:1 and small-group support and helping pupils to access learning, develop their independence and thrive within a nurturing school environment.
The Role
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEND
- Support pupils with a range of complex and additional needs
- Help pupils access learning and participate in classroom activities
- Adapt activities and resources to meet individual needs
