Milk Education are recruiting for a purpose-driven, ambitious Food Technology Teacher to join a Secondary School local to the school to work on a long-term supply basis starting in September! You’ll be joining an inclusive and supportive school, focused on fostering a positive learning environment and promoting student development. This is an exciting role for an experienced educator to join a fantastic school to support pupils in reaching their potential!
Pay: (M1 - M6)
What You’ll Be Doing in the Role:
- Delivering engaging, high-quality, and effective Food Technology lessons to KS3.
- Undertaking full planning and marking responsibilities (allocated time will be included within your timetable).
- Confidently managing classroom behaviour to ensure a safe, practical cooking environment.
- Supporting the school community with general cover duties when required around your timetable.
Essential Qualifications:
- Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Must have recent experience and strong knowledge of teaching Food Technology to KS3.
- Must be available to work Monday to Friday on a consistent basis.
- Must possess a current enhanced DBS check or be willing to process one through Milk Education.
