Flexible Shifts - Learning Support Assistants

Milk Education is expanding our team of Learning Support Assistants to support a variety of Primary Schools across Durham and the surrounding areas. Whether you're an experienced TA, a recently qualified Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant, or have valuable experience working with children through childcare, care, coaching or youth work, we'd love to hear from you.
The Role: September Start, 8:30am - 15:30pm, Flexible/Day-to-Day Shifts
As a Learning Support Assistant, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Support pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, helping them build confidence and make progress.
- Work alongside teachers to deliver engaging and supportive classroom activities.
- Provide tailored support to children with a range of additional needs, including SEND.
- Help create a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment where every pupil can thrive.
- Experience different schools, year groups and settings while enjoying the freedom to choose when you work.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience working with children or young people; school experience is desirable but not essential.
- A positive, adaptable and enthusiastic approach to working in different school environments.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or a willingness to obtain one.
- The right to work in the UK.
