Location: L20 Area, Liverpool

Start Date: September

Contract: Until July 2027 (operation leave cover, with potential to extend)

Hours: Part-time, Monday-Friday (8:30am-3:30pm) (You pick the three days)

Role Overview

Milk Education is recruiting a passionate and dedicated EYFS Teacher to join a welcoming, two-form entry primary school in the L20 area of Liverpool. This role is ideal for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are eager to support children's early learning and development within a nurturing environment. You will take full responsibility for an EYFS class, delivering engaging and developmentally appropriate learning experiences that support pupils academically, socially, and emotionally.

Classroom & School Support

  • Two-form entry primary school within the local community
  • Experienced Classroom Teaching Assistant working alongside you
  • Additional SEN Teaching Assistant support
  • Supportive and collaborative EYFS and senior leadership team

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the EYFS Framework
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
  • Support and differentiate learning for pupils with SEN and additional needs
  • Promote positive behaviour, independence, and emotional development
  • Observe, assess, and track pupil progress using EYFS assessment methods
  • Contribute to learning journals and reports
  • Work closely with colleagues, the SENCO, and senior leadership

What We're Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - ECTs are encouraged to apply
  • Experience teaching within EYFS
  • Experience supporting pupils with SEN is desirable
  • Strong classroom organisation and behaviour management skills
  • A caring, creative, and child-centred approach to teaching
  • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
