Whether you're an experienced Early Years Teaching Assistant, a Level 2 or Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant, or have recent experience supporting children within an EYFS setting, we'd love to hear from you.
We have a range of long‑term, full‑time opportunities available, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
You’ll play a vital role in supporting children’s learning and development, helping to create a safe, nurturing and engaging environment where every child can thrive and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and creative learning activities in line with the EYFS Framework.
- Encourage children's learning through play, exploration, and structured activities.
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
- Support children’s social, emotional, and educational development.
- Assist with observing, recording, and monitoring children’s progress.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, carers, and colleagues.
- Support children with additional learning needs where required.
- Promote positive behaviour and encourage independence.
- Assist with personal care where necessary.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Early Years qualification is desirable.
- Previous experience working within an EYFS or Nursery setting.
- Good understanding of the EYFS Framework.
- A caring, patient, and nurturing approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Passion for supporting children during the early stages of their education.
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
