The Role
- Long-term supply position with the potential to continue
- Teach English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
- Mark work and assess pupil progress in line with school policies
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Work collaboratively with the wider English department and school staff
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching English within UK secondary schools
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Passionate about inspiring students and raising attainment
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people
