Milk Education are working in partnership with a successful and inclusive secondary school in Enfield to appoint an enthusiastic PE Teacher for a September start. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate PE Teacher to join a thriving Physical Education department and inspire students to develop confidence, resilience and a lifelong appreciation for health, fitness and sport.
The successful PE Teacher will teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging practical and theory-based lessons that encourage participation, teamwork and personal achievement. As a PE Teacher, you will play a key role in promoting physical wellbeing while helping students develop important life skills both inside and outside the classroom.
The Role:
- Planning and delivering engaging PE lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Working as a PE Teacher to inspire participation, confidence and sporting achievement
- Teaching a broad range of sports and physical activities
- Supporting students to develop teamwork, leadership and communication skills
- Preparing pupils for GCSE PE and examination courses where appropriate
- Assessing, monitoring and tracking student progress effectively
- Supporting extracurricular clubs, fixtures and enrichment activities
- Promoting healthy lifestyles and positive attitudes towards physical activity
- Creating a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment
The Ideal Candidate:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Physical Education within a secondary school setting
- Strong knowledge of a range of sports and physical activities
- Ability to deliver engaging practical and theoretical lessons
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- Passion for sport, wellbeing and student development
- Commitment to raising attainment and participation levels
- ECTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply

Essential Requirements:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

- Two professional references covering the last two years
- Recent experience teaching PE within UK secondary schools
