Milk Education are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and nurturing Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school from September on a temporary basis. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated individual who is passionate about supporting young children during the early stages of their education. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to help create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment where children can develop academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting children within the Early Years setting on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
  • Assisting the class teacher with the delivery of engaging learning activities
  • Encouraging children's learning, independence, and confidence
  • Supporting children's social and emotional development
  • Helping to maintain a safe, stimulating, and organised classroom environment
  • Assisting with classroom preparation and daily routines

The Ideal Candidate Will

  • Have previous experience working with children in an Early Years setting
  • Be patient, caring, and enthusiastic
  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be committed to supporting children's learning and development
  • Hold a relevant childcare or education qualification (desirable)
