Your main responsibilities will include:

Planning and delivering creative, engaging and well-structured lessons across the primary curriculum.

Establishing a calm, inclusive classroom where pupils feel confident to participate and learn.

Adapting lessons and resources to meet the differing abilities and needs of pupils.

Providing appropriate support and challenge for pupils with SEND and other additional needs.

Monitoring and assessing pupil progress and using this to inform future teaching.

Developing positive relationships with pupils and encouraging them to become confident and independent learners.

Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, effort and achievement.

Working effectively alongside Teaching Assistants and other members of the school team.

Contributing to the wider school community, activities and events.

Maintaining effective communication with colleagues and parents/carers where appropriate.
Requirements or Skills:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

Recent experience teaching within a primary school setting.

Good knowledge of the primary curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
-
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
-
Ability to differentiate learning and respond effectively to individual pupil needs.
-
Experience supporting pupils with SEND is desirable.

A proactive, enthusiastic and adaptable approach to teaching.

Ability to establish positive relationships with pupils and colleagues.

Strong organisation and time-management skills.
-
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
