Milk Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Wirral to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join their team from September or as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ECT from any core subject background including English, Maths, Science, Humanities, or related subjects to begin their teaching career in a supportive and well-structured school environment. The school offers a strong induction programme, excellent mentoring, and ongoing professional development to ensure ECTs feel confident and supported throughout their induction years.
The Role as an ECT
As an Early Career Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive lessons across KS3 and KS4, supporting student progress, and contributing to the wider life of the school. You will be fully supported by an experienced mentor and department team.
Key Responsibilities as an ECT
- Plan and deliver high‑quality lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Assess, monitor, and track student progress
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment
- Differentiate lessons to meet a range of learning needs
- Work collaboratively with departmental staff

The Ideal Candidate as an ECT
